Q. What are the Penalty charges for early termination?
If the Subcriber terminates the subscription prior to the expiration of the term, they will be charged the difference in the amount of the relevant slab at the time of booking and booked slab for the remainder of the months. The charge will be (actual tenure rate – promised tenure rate) * number of months.
For Example:
If you subscribe for a period of 9 months and you early terminate your contract in 6 months then you will default to the original 6 month rate applicable at the time of booking the subscription for the same vehicle. The difference in rate between the 9 month and 6 month will then be charged to you for the 3 months that the car was driven.
Q. Is there a notice period for early termination?
In case of opting for collection by Europcar for an additional fee of 75 AED within Abu Dhabi and 300 AED in other emirates, the subscriber is required to provide a notice period of 24 hours taking into consideration various aspects of service

Late Return
Q. Is there a penalty for late returns?
If Subscriber fails to return the Vehicle on the due date or within five (5) days after a written or oral demand to Subscriber (which demand, if in writing, shall be considered delivered after the delivery of a certified letter addressed to the residence or business address of Subscriber) without making a new booking and visiting the branch to open a new contract, the Subscriber will be deemed to be in unlawful possession of the Vehicle and to have authorized the issuance of a warrant for legal action against Subscriber or any person possessing the Vehicle and may be charged with the violation of applicable statutes.

Q. What are the Safety and cleanliness measures set up?
The customers safety is our utmost priority, hence all of EuropcarFlex vehicles are carefully cleaned and sanitized before handover to the clients. As a part of our extensive cleaning process, it can be noted that the vehicle including the surfaces, controls and keys are all cleaned and sanitized as part of our thorough safety measures.
EuropcarFlex Vehicle Subscription
Q. What is EuropcarFlex?
EuropcarFlex is a vehicle subscription model created by Europcar Abu Dhabi. The subscription allows you to book a car for a minimum tenure ranging from 1 to 9 months after which you will have to create a new subscription corresponding to the end date on your current subscription and visit the branch to open a new contract.
Q. What is special about EuropcarFlex?
EuropcarFlex is a vehicle subscription model that offers you the luxury of a personal vehicle excluding all the disadvantages and commitments of owning a car of your own. You can opt to choose a shorter minimum tenure for flexibility or a longer minimum tenure for more savings, the longer your subscription is the lesser you will pay on a monthly basis. We also offer various options to customise the subscription to your requirements, some of which are listed below:
– Damage Cover options – to reduce your excess fee in the event of accidents
– A free additional driver is included by default for 6 and 9 month subscriptions while you can add 1 more for an additional charge, however you have the option to add 2 additional drivers to your 1 and 3 month subscription.

Q. What is the difference between EuropcarFlex & Leasing?
– EuropcarFlex Vehicle Subscription offers more flexibility as compared to Leasing. You can decide to rent on a minimum duration of 1, 3, 6 or 9 months without paying an advance amount to begin the subscription.
In the event of extensions, you will have to create a new subscription corresponding to the end date on your current subscription and visit the branch to open a new contract.

Q. Are there any advance payments prior to the subscription?
No. With EuropcarFlex, there will be no advance payments to be paid prior to the start of the subscription.
Q. Is there a security deposit to be paid?
A 1500 -2500 AED deposit (Depending on the vehicle group selected) will be blocked on the main drivers credit card. The deposit will be released within 14-21 working days from the last day of the subscription.
Q. What is included in my EuropcarFlex vehicle subscription?
The fixed monthly rate is inclusive of all the expenses such as maintenance, roadside assistance, vehicle replacement and basic insurance cover. The subscription will also include 3000, 4000 or 5000 kilometres (Based on the chosen mileage while booking ). You may also opt for add ons such as the baby and full insurance packages. Charges related to fuel, toll gates, etc are not included. You may also add upto 2 additional drivers to the subscription for 200 AED each per month. 6 and 9 months subscription include 1 additional driver for free hence you may add only one more for an additional charge.
Q. Are there any additional costs apart from the fixed monthly price for the EuropcarFlex Subscription?
The additional fees apart from the fixed monthly rates include:
– you may be billed for Darb, Salik, traffic and parking fines if any.
– You may be billed for additional kilometres than what is allowed in your subscription plan and/or if you have returned the vehicle without a full fuel tank
– You may be charged for damage within the damage cover chosen. Fees may also be charged where the Subscriber does not comply with Europcar directions for vehicle change-overs or providing vehicle condition reports.

Booking, Delivery and Collection
Q. How long do I have to wait before my EuropcarFlex Subscribed vehicle is delivered to me?
You can subscribe for the vehicle to be delivered to you at a later date or subscribe atleast 24 hours prior to the required time

Yes.
However, you will have to create a new subscription corresponding to the end date on your current subscription and visit the branch to open the new contract.
Q. Where can I choose to pick up my subscription vehicle from?
You may either choose delivery of the vehicle to your doorstep for an additional fee of 75 AED within Abu Dhabi and 300 AED for other Emirates or you may choose to pick up the vehicle from our headoffice branch situated on Khalifa Street
Q. Can I have my EuropcarFlex Subsciption vehicle delivered to a requested location?
Yes, you may choose to have your EuropcarFlex subcription vehicle delivered to your doorstep within Abu Dhabi for 75 AED and other Emirates for 300 AED.
Please note that the subscriber must physically present ID, a driver licence and Credit Card during the delivery of the EuropcarFlex Vehicle and must be able to present the confirmation of the booking. Moreover, all the additional drivers booked must also be present to show their ID and Drivers License.
Q. What kind of vehicle can I book in the subscription plan?
You can choose amongst a diverse fleet inclusive of mini, compact, standard, Intermediate and SUV’s.
Q. Are the EuropcarFlex vehicles available immediately after the subscription is confirmed?
Vehicles need to be booked atleast 24 hours prior to the time you would need the vehicle.
Q. Will I get the same vehicle displayed in my booking confirmation?
You will book a vehicle category that will include several other comparable vehicles. The vehicle displayed in your confirmed booking is an example of the category selected. We cannot guarantee you a specific model or brand. But rest assured you will receive a vehicle of the same specifications as booked.
Q. Does my EuropcarFlex subscription have any limitations on how long I can rent the vehicle for?
The minimum subscription terms are 1, 3, 6, 9 months. After which, you will have to make a confirm a new subscription and visit the branch to start the new subscription.

Q. What kind of vehicle can I subscribe to in the EuropcarFlex vehicle subscription?
You can choose amongst a diverse fleet inclusive of mini, compact, standard, Intermediate and SUV’s. While we may not be able to guarantee a specific car, model or make, we will provide you with a vehicle equivalent to the vehicle group booked.
Q. Will I receive the same vehicle shown in the confirmed booking?
You will receive a vehicle from the category you chose and confirmed in the subscription. The vehicle displayed in your confirmed booking is an example of the category selected.
Q. Will I keep the same EuropcarFlex vehicle until the end of my subscription?
We do everything to ensure you can keep your EuropcarFlex vehicle throughout the duration of your subscription. However, our team will contact you incase we need to change the vehicle due to reasons such as maintenance and servicing. We will provide you with an equivalent vehicle for the remainder of your subscription.
Q. Can I change my vehicle during the course of my EuropcarFlex subscription?
Unfortunately, you cannot change the car during your subscription. If you need a vehicle of another category, you may end your contract taking into consideration the cancellation period and charges and subscribe to a new EuropcarFlex contract.

Termination and Return
Q. When can I terminate my EuropcarFlex subscription?
You may terminate your subscription at any moment, providing a 24 hours notice period. However, if you terminate the subsription before the the end of the minimum term, you are liable to pay for the remainder months as per the following calculation (actual tenure rate – promised tenure rate) * number of months. If you decide to end the subscription after the minimum term, you will be billed for the days used in the last months of the EuropcarFlex subscription.
Please do not forget to return your EuropcarFlex Vehicle with a full tank
Q. Is there any cancellation fee if I cancel my subscription prior to the start date?
There will be no Cancellation fee if you cancel the subscription prior to the start date
Q. What are the costs if I drive beyond the kilometre limitations on my subscription?
By default, you are allowed to drive 3000, 4000 or 5000 kilometres (Based on the chosen mileage while booking ). Any additional kilometres will be charged from 0.27 to 0.37 AED per km as per the vehicle group selected. Any additional charges are billed and charged directly to your credit card.
Your monthly quota for the last usage period is proportional to the number of days in that last period.

Q. How do I return the vehicle?
The EuropcarFlex vehicle will be collected from your residence at the end of your subscription if you request the collection option by contacting the headoffice branch for an additional fee of 75 AED within Abu Dhabi and 300 AED from other emirates (For collection, please contact the branch 24 hours prior to termination to avoid any inconvenience).
You may drop off the vehicle at the branch for free if desired

Q. What are the addons that I can opt for in the subscription?
You may opt for the below addons during the booking process
You can tailor your subcription to better meet your requirements with addons such as extra insurance cover to reduce your damage excess fee as well as additional drivers and baby seats.
Q. What are the kilometre packages I can opt for?
Your subscription will include a package of 3000, 4000 or 5000 kilometres (Based on the chosen mileage while booking). Any additional kilometres will be charged from 0.27 to 0.37 AED per km depending on the car group chosen. Any additional charges are billed and charged directly to your credit card.
Q. How can my driven kilometres be declared?
The driven kilometres will be noted prior to the commencement of the subscription and on return.
In the event of maintenance and servicing, the driven kilometres of the subscription vehicle and replacement vehicle will be noted to keep track of mileage usage
Q. Can anyone other than the subscriber drive the EuropcarFlex vehicle?
You may also add upto 2 additional drivers to the subscription for 200 AED each per month. 6 and 9 months subscription include 1 additional driver for free hence you may add only one more for an additional charge. Any additional driver added to the contract must be present at the time of vehicle delivery.
Q. Is there any protection package included in my subscription?
Yes, there is a basic protection package already included in your fixed monthly rate which includes theft protection and accidental collision damage cover with a payable excess fee ranging from 1200 – 2500 AED. You may choose to add premium protection packages to reduce the excess fee to 0
Maintenance & Assistance
Q. Does my EuropcarFlex subscription contract include roadside assistance?
All of our EuropcarFlex subscriptions include 24*7 roadside assistance incase of any emergencies.

Q. What should I do in the case of an accident or theft?
Roadside assistance is provided for mechanical or technical faults in the vehicles. However, fees and charges may apply based on the protection package chosen during the booking process for all other driver induced errors.

In the event of an accident including a third party, a police report is mandatory
If a EuropcarFlex vehicle is not driveable due to an accident, the replacement time for another vehicle will be 24 hours due to a number of factors related to service.
